Poems and Stories
by
Cleo Felstead

Hi. Thanks for visiting.

I live in Bromley, Kent and amongst other things I love to write.

I'm thrilled to announce that one of my poems has been selected for the long list of the National Poetry Competition 2023.

A few other things I love...

my partner, our 7 year old son, the countryside, 80's pop, friendship, drum and bass,

navel-gazing, clowning and anything that involves creative expression.

This is a place for me to share my published poetry and prose plus any news regarding my writing projects.

I run a poetry open mic night once a month in Chislehurst, Kent. Come and join us. We'd love to have you.

I'm also writing a novel about a young woman who runs away from a mother and baby home with her six week old baby. She finds herself in central London, surviving the best she can, surrounded by people she is not sure she can trust. Watch this space.

Please find some of my work in the drop down boxes above.

Keep creating peeps.

side Cecila Knapp, Reanna Valentine, Jimmy Bowman and Ajay Desai.

One of my poems appears on The Royal Society of Literature's Write Across London Poetry Map

The Royal Society of Literature have created a poetry map for Londoners to keep a record of their experiences during Covid. My poem is in the London Borough of Bromley and is called 'My Lockdown Freedom'. It was also featured with other lovely pieces in their quarterly newspaper 'Our Mutual Friend'.
